French Mauve Reddish, Bluish

cobalt violet + cobalt blue + titanium-zinc white

These two delicate violet tints were made with the beautiful violets of the Impressionist palette in mind. With the development of synthetic pigments and dyes in the 19^th century, new violets became the rage, though not all were permanent. The reddish has a lilac hue, the bluish leans toward lavender. Both colors are mixes of Cobalt Violet, Cobalt Blue, and white.
