The Gallery at R&F is pleased to present Lynette Haggard’s solo exhibition, Frames of Reference. This exhibit of encaustic works follows Ms. Haggard’s visual development of the last six years. Works on exhibit include her wall sculptures—rugged, off- rectangular solids—that evolve into rusticated, gridded paintings in high relief. These paintings on panels become increasingly wedded to light and indeterminate space within their grids. More recently, Ms. Haggard has firmed her geometry, flattened her color, made reference to folded form, and added subtle works on paper. This exhibition will be on view August 1st through October 17, 2015.

Ms. Haggard is a nationally exhibited artist from the Greater Boston area. She earned a BFA from Philadelphia College of Art, now the University of the Arts. Ms. Haggard’s work has garnered her numerous solo, two-person and group shows throughout the United States, notably Conrad Wilde Gallery in Tucson, Logan International Airport, Boston, AIR Gallery, New York City, Saco Museum of Art, the New Britain Museum of Art and The Art Complex Museum, Duxbury, MA. Her work is included in numerous public collections as well as private collections in the United States and Arab Emirates. Ms. Haggard authors an outstanding blog on artists and art at
