IT'S NOT TOO LATE - Postmark Deadline - FRIDAY Dec 5

Greetings Encaustic Artists,

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SUBMIT TO THE JURIED ENCAUSTIC SHOW ("Metamorphosis")

The Postmark Deadline for submissions is this Friday, December 5, 2008.

All encaustic artists are invited to to make submissions.

The details are as follows:

A juried show of international encaustic work entitled "Metamorphosis" is being
co-sponsored by the Haydon Art Center and the International Encaustic Artists.

The exhibition is scheduled for March 5 -28, 2009.

Juror: George W. Neubert

George W. Neubert has served as director of the Sheldon Museum of Art, Lincoln,
Nebraska and San Antonio Art Museum, Associate Director of Art for the San
Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Project Director for the Project
Sculpture/Public Sites program at the Golden Gate National Park, and Chief
Curator of Art at the Oakland Museum. Neubert is also an artist and sculptor. He
has exhibited his work in the United States and internationally in Japan and
Budapest. He was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Artist Grant in 1980.

Postmark Deadline for entries: December 5, 2008

Applicants are asked to carefully read all requirements for submission.

Notification: February 5, 2009

If approved this would give us funds to produce a small exhibition catalogue.
