Does anyone know where I can get a good pair of heat gloves?  I want gloves not mitts.  Easier to move and hold the tins of hot paint.  Also, does anyone use a portable heating device to keep wax melted while being able to apply it closer to the substrate? Perhaps a portable hot plate or something someone has created for their own use? Please share.

I live in a townhome and paint in the basement with a walkout sliding door.  Any good ideas on how to ventilate well in this space/setup?  I live in Minnesota which gets really cold during this time of year.
