Re: blowing fusesI can't run the heat gun at the same time as the electric palette. Doesn't it depend on how many amps your fuse has? I wonder if you tried the heat gun or the palette with the fan, it might be easier than 2 heat sources on one plug. |

Re: blowing fusesWhat matters is not having too many of your electrical appliances plugged into the same CIRCUIT. Different OUTLETS may belong to the same circuit. The best way to determine which outlets belong to which circuits is to "map" them. You need to turn off one circuit breaker or fuse at a time and plug a lamp into each outlet, noting which are turned off. They belong to that circuit that you turned off. Then do it again with another circuit breaker/fuse, until you know which breakers control all the outlets available to you. Hopefully you will have more than one circuit in your work area, but if not you can always run extension cords from another part of the house. The heat gun is usually the culprit in overloading a circuit, so try to use only it and one other appliance on a single circuit. |
