Encaustic Brushes - Flat

R&F's encaustic brushes meet the unique demands of encaustic painting. These high quality brushes are made from natural hair, rather than synthetic fibers to prevent melting and scorching on heated surfaces.

The full line includes 27 varieties of natural chunking bristle brushes, including bright, flat, filbert, short filbert, round and fan shapes. Three additional sizes of flat brushes are available in a custom blend of softer natural hair. These are ideal for working with thinner viscosities of color and creating smooth enamel-like finishes. Each brush features a unique mid-length handle designed specifically for table-top painting on encaustic surfaces.
