Tracy Spadafora, Untitled, mixed media encaustic

Dick Blick in Boston, MA will be hosting an encaustic and pigment stick demonstration on Saturday November 7th, 2009 from 3:00pm-5:30pm.  Former paintmaker Tracy Spadafora will be on-hand demonstrating the various techniques for using these painting mediums.
Tracy Spadafora is a painter who teaches drawing and painting classes at colleges, museums, and art centers in the Boston area, and private painting instruction at her studio.  Her artwork has been exhibited throughout the US and she has received a grant from the Somerville Arts Council.  Her paintings are included in The Art of Encaustic Painting by Joanne Mattera.
