Sienna Yellow Extra-Pale Encaustic

A versatile paint for fine artists, R&F Encaustics are composed of beeswax, damar resin and pigments. In a molten state, it is applied to an absorbent ground and then fused, or re-melted, to acheive a range of effects, from glass-like smoothness to rich, impasto-like textures.

This color has a similar value to Brilliant Yellow Extra Pale but next to Brilliant Yellow it appears neutral; while next to Neutral White is appears brilliant.  This color is made with translucent yellow iron oxide and white.
