R&F Pigment Sticks are oil paint with just enough natural wax added to maintain a solid stick form. They are richly pigmented, with a lipstick soft consistency that gives them the same fluidity, subtlety, and durability as traditional oil colors, with the gestural spontaneity of direct drawing.

Pigment is pure graphite. In paint it retains graphite's peculiar slightly iridescent quality. Beautiful washes.
