Encaustic Mini

Mini Encaustic Workshops are designed to give artists a hands on introduction to the encaustic process. A one-hour demonstration is followed by independent work time, giving participants a chance to experiment with the paint and tools. Mini Workshops are ideal for artists who are curious about encaustic but don't have any previous experience. The topics covered will include: health and safety; what encaustic is; how to get started; and the most popular techniques and applications. If you have worked with encaustic before and desire a refresher course, or have taken the longer workshop but need more experimental work time feel free to participate knowing there is an instructor available to answer your questions. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than creating art.
